I am glad that over 4 million in CA voted against it, although it was not enough. I am sorry. I am sorry that my church played such a big role in this as well. It does not feel good or right.
We watched all night hoping to see a change. I am ashamed of everyone who couldn't open thier mind. You did amazing work, Heather.
As much as I hated the way you departed the bookclub and felt it unfair, I truly appreciated all of your work, insight and thoroughness of the information you posted on your blog. Prop 8 was a huge disappointment and i find it disheartening...California needs more people like you, Heather...don't stop.
