To Market, To Market

I mapped out Saturday's ride carefully and the mapping program said it was 19.9 miles from my house to the Davis Farmers' Market. I was expecting a 39.8 mile ride, give or take. I've done this ride several times and it's never come out to 19.9 miles, but I haven't had cause to doubt the mapping program before. So the Jills came over at 7:15a and we set out for Davis. For some of us, it was the first time crossing the causeway. Kind of scary and yicky on the first time, so it was nice to do it as a group.

The market was great -- I think we gobble up some produce and had sascks to bring home. Christine's guy Ron drove down, brought us some cold water and ice, and brought our veggies home for us. Very sweet.

The Jills:

The "Fonts Fam" -- Vanessa and Ann are in our group, and Vanessa's husband (also Ann's son) and Ann's daughter (also Vanessa's sister in law) joined us on our ride on Saturday.

A little dark, but we had a great time meeting Jenny and Greg (on the left).

The End.
