My nephew Dylan ("before and after") turned one yesterday. There was a celebration. With cake. I missed it. I had to teach spinning and fuffel around my house. Also had to make some fantastic salsa verde and the best enchiladas ever (really). Oh, and also, I wasn't invited. Wasn't even told about it. At least they sent photos. Psh.
So anyway -- I'm thinking babies should always have their clothes off until they're old enough to care.
Cute, huh?But then when you put clothes on him, some of the charm is lost.
Yeah. Just not something to say, "awww" about.Back there in the red sweatshirt and hat is my brother who is about 5 foot 40 inches -- you can see how he doesn't fit in the chair. But you see how unimpressed he is? I guess Before and After is not that impressive in person with clothes on either.
This will be a good test to see if my sister reads my blog. My mom is going to tell me how mean I am, but secretly, she'll be thinking that babies are cuter without clothes on.
See? No clothes = cute.

Again -- wasn't invited.
