The upcoming election is distressing for so many reasons. I don't want to wake up on November 5th to a world where we're repeating the downward spiral of the last eight years, and a world where I don't feel welcome. . . maybe even [hated]. Make sure you vote. And pass on to your family and friends in California (and Arizona and Florida) that there's no reason to be scared of gay marriage. Our lives will not be turned upside down. Our children will not be converted. Our religions will not be threatened. Our marriages will not fail.
