Where am I?

When I was a kid, there was a 50/50 chance it would snow on Easter. I was not terribly familiar with the concept that Easter egg hunts that are had outside. Sometimes the clever Easter Bunny would hide an egg on an arm of the ceiling fan, but then it would be so cold on Easter morning that we'd get up and make a quick fire in the wood stove and of course turn on the fan to circulate the heat (there was no central heating in CO in those days - we were lucky to have electric-powered fans). Little did we know the Easter bunny had been so clever, and sometimes the Easter bunny himself didn't remember how clever he'd been, so on the fan would go, and down the egg would come!

Anyway . . .

Easter in Northern California today:
Can you tell how wet and blustery it is? You can't hear the thunder or see the lightening. Nor can you hear/see the wind much. Wish I'd taken some photos on the ride this morning, but . . . I didn't. Cold. Wet. Rainy.

Dinner sometime last week -- guess what this is? Gluten free pizza crust, some sauce, garlic, yams, peppers, zucchini, onion, and goat cheese. Mmmmm.
Friday night -- a fun night with some fun girls! We made some food, drank some wine, and caught up on some fun.
I forgot to take a picture of this Quinoa Greek Salad after I added the Quinoa and dressing -- but here's what it looked like just before!
I think Jen has all the group shots we took -- I just have a few from the end of the evening. Vanessa and Jen.
Jana enamored of Emily. I think she even drooled a little.
Yes, it's April and I have the fire going. It's cold. And Dozo is not complaining.
Ripley pretending to be all sweet at cute and like she doesn't bark at EVERYthing.
Jen.
Animated Vanessa.Dozo.
Thanks for a great evening, all.
