Smoky Skies

The air in the valley during summer is usually rather poor. But with the thousands of fires burning in California, and the valley's natural ability to trap heat and air, it's ten times as bad as usual. These pictures don't really capture it, but this is a view of Sacramento on my way to Trader Joes yesterday.

I guess no more biking for a few days.
